Zero waste draping

This was an exploration of zero waste draping with the small size mannequin to come up with different designs with just a fixed rectangular piece of fabric without wasting any parts of it.After that, 1 design would be chosen to recreate in the original human mannequin size. Bustier Gown

This was my first gown creation with a bustier with boning and a draped dress.It was inspired by the ocean waves and seashells where the bustier is pleated and the gown is draped. Skills: Sewing ,Draping,Drafting,Beading,Making spec sheet

3D draping

This was a top and skirt set wth elements of 3D draping with what looks like flower buns added with style lines and a flounce at the front.The skirt is made with a waistband,yoke and irregular gathered panels. Skills: Draping,Sewing,Production drawing

Drafting pleated pants

This is the first pants that I have drafted with knife pleats and belt loops.I learnt how to draft things like the opening of pants (fly front, fly shield) and how to create patterns before sewing them together. Skills: Drafting,sewing
